Scanning slides or negatives
We scan slides or negatives from color negatives or black & white negatives starting from € 0.30 per image. The image size obtained is similar to a 3MP digital camera and can be displayed full screen on a computer monitor of 27". For HDTV this resolution is more than enough. Good prints up to A4 size are possible.

Our standard scanning equipment has the possibility of all 35mm and 120 (medium format) film-based sizes. The larger sizes up to 20x25 cm ( 8" x 10" ) and old glass negatives are scanned other equipment.
- The most common size of a mounted 35mm slide, or mounted 35 half frame slide is 5x5cm. These are scanned in the mount. Only the medium format mounted slides with a size of 7x7cm are unmounted for scanning. Call or email us about the possibilities if you have something different.
It is recommended that slides in glass mount are transfered to mount without glass. We can do this on request for you.
Scanning with the glass mount is possible but gives a lower quality result. Please contact us for advice.
- Slide magazines
We maintain the order of your slides the magazine. Each slide magizine is placed into a separate folder on CD or DVD with a number. The order of the scanned slides is maintained.
Negative color, black and white film, slides and APS film strip
- Negative strips color or black & white
Your negative strip has preferably 1 to a maximum of 6 shots. The easiest way to prepare is to use a reorder slip with the image number is written above the image. Larger numbers, preferably in an archival journal.
Note: Most black & white material cannot be scanned with Digit ICE, this can lead to a lower quality scan of outdated material.
- APS film
We prefer to receive the APS film cassette. However, if the cassette has a defect we can also scan the images as a cutted strip.
- Other formats
Film or glass based photographic material of size up to 20x25cm (8"x10" ) can be scanned. Please inquire in this case the possibilities and how shipment can best done.
